backstage at london fashion week

A belated post (but seeing as i didn't have a blog back then) i thought i'd do a little recap of my experience interning at london fashion week. February 2011 i got the train down to london for a week of high fashion backstage dramas - celeb spotting - & long long days. My thoughts - "take me back..now!". I don't know what it is about fashion week, in particular lfw, but there's a constant buzz & stream of fresh talent. Acclaimed for producing some of the most daring & innovative emerging talent, london did not disappoint.

.... & on that note. This blog is to be a diary documenting my final weeks of my course (fashion retail management) at Birmingham Institute of Art & Design. Following on from my dissertation on current emerging British designers i have decided to use this space to explore the British fashion culture - everything from London Fashion Week - street style - to overall British fashion identity, oh and occasional reflections on anything fascinating/beautiful or just bizarre that i may come across.
